Almost all modern cars are controlled by a small computer called the engine control unit (ECU), which controls everything from the windscreen wipers to the fuel flow through your engine. The ECU can detect faults and it will trigger the engine warning light on your dash if it detects one, but that doesn’t tell you what the fault is. At Haskins Garage Ltd we use state-of-the-art diagnostics software from SUN and SNAP ON which connects to your car’s ECU and enables us to accurately pinpoint and repair all issues associated with engine diagnostics.
